Serving Connecticut, Rhode Island and Massachusetts

“Glazing projects are significantly more elaborate today than in the past. Our team specializes in complex projects that require a thorough understanding of system engineering, safety, wind codes, and the ever changing energy standards. Therefore we take pride in matching the needs of the customer or project with the most current products available in the marketplace. Our customer centric approach enables us to exceed expectations on design-build applications in addition to providing competitive pricing for conventional designed projects.”

New England Glass Co. has transformed over its years of business. Through developing our staff to developed skill technique, the NEGM team has transformed from a focus of smaller, more simplistic type projects, to engineered and detail specific large commercial jobs. Many of our projects in the last year have focused on blast requirements, hurricane ratings and fire rated glazing. We have worked to create valuable partnerships with our engineers and vendors to assist in the award of these projects. New England Glass estimators continue striving to learn more about these areas and implement the correct bidding practices to effectively win these jobs over our competitors. The award is only half the battle but in the recent months, our staff has become much more cohesive in communicating across all aspects.

A hand-off procedure was recently developed in order to be clear between what was estimated and how to execute the project to match. Additionally, we have begun to welcome in our lead technicians to these meetings to get them on board with the project from the start. Our technicians have proved over the last few years how vital the communication flow is. Whether we have our guys working in Connecticut, Rhode Island or Massachusetts we have developed techniques that allows for a constant flow of communication from the office to the job site and back again. NEGM knows there is always room for improvement and the management staff has begun to open its doors to suggestions to aid in this continued company wide transformation.
