Additionally, once they begin, they are typically fast paced as the general contractor is working tirelessly with the subcontractors to hand over the project to the owner. Luckily, many of the projects we have completed have been close in proximity, which makes our flexibility much greater. Some of the projects we have completed are Arooga’s, Starbucks at the Crystal Mall, The Mystic Hilton, Long Horn Steak House, Buffalo Wild Wings and The Hampton Inn at Mystic. New England Glass tends to do very well on these projects as there have been an influx of them in our region. We are competitive with our numbers and work with general contractors we have had experience with in the past. It is well known that the hospitality industry is stressful and high paced. Ironically, this begins before the restaurant has even opened! Luckily, NEGM has developed skills to win these projects and execute them efficiently.
Our Most Recent Hospitality Project:
Popeye’s Norwich, CT
This project was completed in the Spring of 2016. Our technicians installed Kawneer Framing into a renovated building. We also put in new entrance doors & vestibule and a side handicap-accessible entrance. This restaurant also has a drive through window. The location is 2 exits from our company and was a convenient install for NEGM as a whole. Our employees are excited to visit the location and try some chicken!
