Norwich to present “The Tree of Life” Shadowbox

‘Norwich’s Lifesaving Tree’ honored at City Hall event

The presentation of “The Tree of Life” Shadowbox will be held on Thursday June 26, 2014 @ 02:30 pm on the 3rd floor of Norwich City Hall, 100 Broadway, Norwich.

New England Glass Co. had the privilege of being one of the donors, along with Norwich Lumber Co. and John Kelly with Norwich Tech’s Carpentry Dept., to the project so that the Norwich Historical Society and the City of Norwich could have a repository for a permanent piece of Norwich’s history; a limb from “The Tree of Life”.  The Shadowbox will also contain a copy of Tom Jr.’s book “A Swift and Deadly Maelstrom, The Great Norwich Flood of 1963, A Survivors Story, two photos taken after the flood and Norwich’s Lifesaving Tree CD.
