Staying in touch with the local and surrounding communities is a must for a small business such as New England Glass Co. The Norwich City Hall is a beautiful landmark building. When events are hosted there, we do our best to attend to show our support and dedication to the town. The most recent event our employees attended there was “The Lifesaving Tree”. Feel free to click on the link at the top of the page to see more photos and a brief description of the event.

NEGM has employees that are members of the Greater Norwich Chamber of Commerce and the Young Professionals section of the Southeastern Chamber of Commerce. Both host events in the area supporting local business and networking with local professionals. Both of these networks are great resources for exposing your business to locals, building relationships with other companies and meeting new people. The events are hosted with a fun and fluid platform that makes them conducive to this environment.

Other aspects of news and community include customer service and meeting with local figure heads. NEGM assisted a young boy whose parents had recently purchased some window units from us with his school project. His task was to learn about a topic and present it. Our shop manager brought him in and safely introduced him to the world of glass. Following the project he wrote a letter, thanking NEGM for our assistance and that he had a great time learning about our products.

Yet another mile mark for NEGM, that is news worthy was completing the EPA Lead Safe Certification Program. Having this is essential in the work of renovations and retrofit projects.

Once again, feel free to click on any of the above sections to learn more about these topics and more.
